Newly-appointed Pakistan’s limited-overs captain “Babar Azam” received a warning from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the violation of the COVID-19 standard operating procedure (SOP’s). Young star spotted in Abdul Qadir Cricket Academy Lahore training with opener Imamul-Haq and pacer Naseem Shah. “We had clearly asked the players, earlier as well, to not practice at cricket grounds during this period and that they must observe and adhere to strict social distancing protocols,”

PCB Media Director Sami Burney said

After the severe outbreak of COVID-19 in the country, Player’s safety, and health become a challenge for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). That is why PCB decided not to hold the training camp of national man’s players before their departure for England series.

Pakistan has to take on England in three tests and three t20 internationals in August-September in England.
